Executive Leadership


Chief Executive Officer: Andrew Jones, MD

Dr. Jones serves as the chief executive officer (CEO) for Confluence Health and is responsible for ensuring successful management of the business and setting future strategy. Receiving his medical degree and completing his residency in family medicine through the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, Dr. Jones later received a master of business administration degree (MBA) in health administration from the University of Colorado Denver. Prior to becoming the CEO of Confluence Health, Dr. Jones served in medical leadership roles with other organizations as the vice president of clinical performance excellence and chief medical officer / vice president of medical affairs.


President/Chair of WVMG Board of Directors: Jennifer Jorgensen, MD

Dr. Jorgensen is the managing executive officer of the Wenatchee Valley Medical Group and has general charge of the business affairs and supervision over that corporation's assets. Additionally, she is a member of the Confluence Health Board of Directors. Dr. Jorgensen also works on the clinical side as a gastroenterologist and is board certified in both internal medicine and gastroenterology. Receiving her medical degree from the University of Michigan, she also completed both an internship and residency in internal medicine with Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, WA. Following this, she completed fellowships in gastroenterology and therapeutic endoscopy at the University of Michigan Medical Center.


Chief Medical Officer: James Murray, MD

Dr. Murray serves as the chief medical officer (CMO), ensuring Confluence Health and the Wenatchee Valley Medical Group deliver safe and effective healthcare according to our mission and vision, alongside operational and executive leadership and in cooperation with medical staff. When practicing, Dr. Murray works as a hospitalist and is board certified in internal medicine. Receiving his medical degree from Loyola University, Dr. Murray completed an internship in general surgery at Portsmouth Naval Hospital and later a residency in internal medicine from Grand Rapids Medical Education and Research.


Chief Financial Officer: Tom Legel

Tom is the chief financial officer (CFO) for Confluence Health and is responsible for the company's finances, financial planning, management of financial risks, and financial reporting. Receiving both his bachelor’s degree in business administration and public accounting and later a master of business administration degree (MBA) from Gonzaga University, Tom has served as a CFO and financial and strategy officer for several wide-ranging and diverse healthcare organizations.


Chief People & Strategy Officer: Katina Maier

As the chief people and strategy officer (CPSO), Katina is responsible for leading the organization in developing and implementing enterprise strategies. Her areas of oversight include human resources, strategy realization office/business development, consumer experience, organizational improvement, marketing/communications, project management office, and data analytics. After completing a bachelor’s degree in sociology, Katina received a master’s degree in healthcare services administration from the University of Washington. She has broad experience in both employee and patient experience and strategic planning and development, as well as expertise in ambulatory operations, revenue cycle/patient access, and provider compensation design.


Chief Nursing Officer: Kelly Allen

Kelly is the chief nursing officer (CNO) and is responsible for nursing practices within Confluence Health by overseeing the daily operations of our hospitals, including inpatient services, surgical services and other hospital-based locations. Receiving a bachelor's degree in nursing from Seattle Pacific University, Kelly later received a master's degree in nursing from the University of Phoenix and pursued her doctorate of nursing from Aspen University. Kelly has expansive experience in a wide variety of clinical and administrative leadership roles, including serving as a trauma program manager, director of nursing, and director of urgent/emergent services.


Chief Ambulatory and Clinic Network Officer: Brian Barry

As the chief ambulatory and clinic network officer for Confluence Health, Brian is responsible for focusing on our outpatient service lines to redesign primary care and fulfill our mission of "local care by and for our community." Completing his bachelor's degree in business administration and marketing at the University of Colorado Boulder, Brian later received a master’s degree in political science with a focus on environmental policy and public administration from Colorado State University. Brian has wide-ranging experience in many areas—including roles as a market and strategic planning analyst, director of planning and business development, and vice president of ambulatory network—before later serving as a chief operating officer (COO) for two organizations.


Chief Information Officer: Robert Pageler

Robert acts as the chief information officer (CIO) for Confluence Health and oversees information technology and computer systems, including assessing current processes and recommending future software upgrades and best processes. Receiving his bachelor's degree in business management of information systems from the University of Arizona, Robert also received a master of business administration degree (MBA) in executive management from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Robert has extensive experience as a director of information technology, information services and information technology infrastructure, in addition to serving as a senior director of information services strategy.
