WSHA Partnership for Patients

Washington hospitals are working to improve the safety of patients through an initiative with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) called Partnership for Patients. In the first round of Partnership for Patients, 23,000 patients were saved from harm and reduced $336 million in health care spending. Hospitals in Washington, Alaska, and Oregon have signed up to participate in this project though WSHA. Confluence Health is honored to be involved with Partnership for Patients. We are working to improve care in areas that are important to clinicians and patients.
