What to Expect on Your First Day at New Employee Welcome (NEW)
A message from Dr. Jones, CEO: "By now, you’ve had your evaluation from Employee Health, completed your onboarding requirements, and are ready to begin your career at Confluence Health. We are honored to have you on the team and look forward to meeting you on your first day! New Employee Welcome, or NEW, is your first official day of work, and we are looking forward to spending time with you. Specific information for your location will be provided before your first day."
Your New Employee Day One:

8 a.m. to 12 p.m. — In-person presentations at the Miller Street Conference Center (located at 1000A North Miller Street, Wenatchee).

12:50–4:30 p.m. — Computer-based training at the Campbell Building (located at 609 Highline Drive, East Wenatchee).

Please review your location as indicated on the official email you will receive on the Thursday prior to your New Employee Welcome (in case of any location changes).
What to Expect at NEW
- You will receive your employee ID badge and orientation schedule for the rest of the week.
- Meet and get to know your fellow new employees.
- Organizational and Leadership Development team members and organizational leaders will be available to welcome you, lead discussions, and answer your questions.
- You will learn who Confluence Health is as an organization and what makes us who we are.
- You will learn more about our efforts around employee engagement.
- Our benefit specialist will cover all benefits offered to employees and answer your questions.
- Hear about all the events beyond your first day.
- Have lunch (on us!).
Dress Code
As NEW is your first day of work, please dress in business-casual attire and refrain from wearing jeans or casual clothing. Please dress accordingly for varying room temperatures. If you will be attending clinical or computer education as part of your orientation, business casual or scrubs are acceptable. Please, no open-toed shoes, sweats, t-shirts or hoodies. Once you complete NEW and your orientation, you may have specific attire requirements depending on your role (such as scrubs, department-issued logo attire, etc.). Please check with your manager or supervisor.
