Heart Month - Heart Breaker "Passport to a Healthy Heart" Event at Pybus Market
Raising awareness and celebrating teamwork!
We held the 3rd annual Heart Month Event at Pybus Market, on February 22, 2020. A Huge THANK YOU to all who volunteered and participated!
We had:
- 595 runners and walkers registered for the Heart Breaker Run/Walk, put on by Run Wenatchee!
- Over 350 people pinned their 2020 Heart Healthy goals on the goal board!
- 250 people participated in the passport tables and committed to exercising 150 minutes a week!
- 12 informational tables dedicated to Heart Healthy living volunteered their time to build a healthier valley!
- 10 cardiac patients and their care teams throughout Confluence Health participated in the “Messages From The Heart” photo gallery, highlighting our patients’ journeys and how we are “Better Together”! If you didn’t have the opportunity to see the photo gallery, it will be on display in the coming weeks. See the schedule below, along with some highlights from last weekend!
Gracie H. and 25 Confluence Health team members from various departments, who played a role in her care while she was hospitalized, joined in a photo on Feb 5th! It was a special reunion.
Gracie H. had over 80 friends and family join her on Feb. 22nd in the Heart Breaker Run/Walk to raise awareness for heart disease and support her health journey.
Dominick F. stopped by to say hi and see the photo gallery along with other patients who participated in gallery.
