Redesigning Primary Care in North Central Washington

In the rapidly changing healthcare industry, Confluence Health recognized that it wasn’t enough to just make a few tweaks here and there to continue meeting the needs of our community while also remaining local, independent and relevant. Instead, our organization needed to completely redesign how primary care is delivered to the residents of North Central Washington. To that end, CH leadership has embarked on a "Primary Care Redesign" initiative that covers several areas, including online appointment scheduling, a transition from walk-in clinics to DirectCare, a forthcoming option for on-demand virtual care ("KeyCare"), and a new digital option for patients with chronic conditions ("Care Companion").
