Eligibility/Ineligible Services
Confluence Health has a Charity Care Program (financial assistance) so that medical services may be provided to uninsured and underinsured patients who meet the eligibility requirements.

Households that are underinsured and uninsured and whose household income* is less than 300% of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Poverty Level will be considered.

Only “medically appropriate services” are eligible.

Charity care will only be considered after all other financial resources available to the patient have been explored and exhausted.

Nominal fees are not charged to patients at or below 200% of the federal poverty guidelines on qualifying charity care services.

Patients must reapply every six months for charity care reevaluation.

Our charity care schedule is based on the federal poverty guidelines and is updated annually.
*Household income means a group of two or more persons related by birth, marriage or adoption who live together. All such related persons are considered members of one family.
