Breast Care Program

Delivering the highest quality healthcare to our patients is something we take very seriously. That’s why we provide newly diagnosed breast cancer patients with prompt access to the treatment plan that best fits their individual needs.

Our multidisciplinary cancer care team is dedicated to improving survival and quality of life for cancer patients by determining the best treatment option, which may include one or more of the following:

• Dedicated women’s imaging radiology

• Surgery

• Medical oncology

• Radiation oncology

• Breast care coordination

We work with patients and their primary care provider to access our support services in a timely manner—whether they are driving across town or across the state—and try to coordinate all initial appointments for the same day. Our breast care coordinator meets with patients and is available throughout their experiences at Confluence Health, guiding them through each step of the process.

We use state-of-the-art imaging and procedures to ensure our patients receive the best possible radiological assessment and treatment.

Our digital imaging and archiving system allows patients' images to be viewed instantly in the operating rooms and on physician workstations around our various campuses and offices.

Our program and treatment center is affiliated with the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance. We believe that cancer is a complex group of diseases, and each diagnosis is a life-changing event. We provide state-of-the-art evaluations/consultations, staging, treatment and clinical follow-up. We provide supportive services to ease your journey.

Breast Health Coordinator

Celeste Van Houten, MA-C, has an extensive background in oncology. As the breast care coordinator, Celeste meets with patients and supports them throughout their experiences at Confluence Health, guiding them through each step of the process.
