Occupational Medicine
Employee Health Programs
The Occupational Medicine Service Line at Confluence Health is dedicated to the prevention, evaluation, treatment and resolution of conditions caused by the workplace environment. Employee health programs serve an important purpose by providing your staff with a resource for injury and illness care so they can recover quickly and get back to work as soon as possible. Additionally, having a medical provider for pre-employment health screenings helps speed up the hiring process.
Occupational physicians serve as a liaison between employers, employees and the healthcare system when someone is sick or injured. They keep meticulous records and are aware that they may be called to weigh in on a worker's compensation issue. You can save a lot of time and expense when you have a medical team you trust looking after your staff.
