Our specialists collaborate with multiple specialties to provide highly specialized and compassionate care for patients with lung cancer including working with thoracic surgery, medical oncology, radiation oncology, pathology and interventional radiology. Our specialists also have close ties to the University of Washington to provide localized care of highly complex lung problems including cystic fibrosis, pre-lung transplantation evaluation, post-lung transplantation care, interstitial lung disease and pulmonary hypertension.
Our comprehensive pulmonary function test laboratory has state-of-the-art equipment that allows for accurate lung function measurement by a certified respiratory therapist. Services provided include complete pulmonary function testing, Methacholine challenge testing, six-minute walk testing of oxygen saturation during walking, arterial blood gas (ABG) testing, alpha-1 antitrypsin testing, overnight oxygen saturation testing, and education/demonstration on inhaler use techniques.
