Ekso™ Exoskeleton

In 2014, Confluence Health added a state-of-the-art tool to its rehabilitation program for patients who need assistance walking or are unable to walk. By wearing a robotic exoskeletion known as the “Ekso,” patients can stimulate and retrain their underutilized muscles and nerves… and possibly improve their ability to walk.

What is Ekso™?

Ekso™ is a wearable bionic exoskeleton, designed to assist patients with lower body weakness or paralysis to stand up and walk.

Who is Ekso™ for?

People with lower extremity weakness or paralysis due to neurological disease or injury such as:

  • Spinal cord injuries
  • Stroke
  • Multiple sclerosis
  • Parkinson’s Disease
  • Guillain Barre Syndrome
